William H. Richardson served honorably in the WWII Navy Armed Guard. He served
aboard the SS Mae, the USAT Pueblo and the SS Cushing Eells. You will see some
of his story below. Like all Armed Guard sailors, Richard served without armor,
with guns from the WWI era and at speeds that submarines could easily outrun
in most cases. William resides presently in Palm Coast, Florida and can be
