Thomas R Allen

Thomas R Allen served in the World War II Naval Armed Guard as a signalman. He served aboard the SS Simeon G Reed, the SS James S Larson, the SS Orvid Butler, and later on the USS Brinkley Bass (DD-887). Tom lives in Tooele, Utah, home of the nerve and mustard gas incinerator for that area. Tom was in a terrible typhoon at sea and his account of it is included in this page.
