Lloyd Erickson, Sr.






Lloyd Erickson, Sr. served proudly as a Signalman in the WWII Navy Armed Guard. Lloyd served on the SS M T Norlys, SS Hannibal Hamlin, SS Fort Schuyler (A Dutch Ship) and the SS Benjamin Silliman. Lloyd presently lives with his lovely wife, June, in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. Lloyd worked as a telegrapher and was promoted from telegraph operator to train dispatcher in just three years. He retired from railroading after 35 years to a beautiful lake.
